newport engagement session: stephanie and brad

Stephanie and Brad are absolutely hilarious. I had a giant smile on my face through the entire shoot when we did a little driving tour of Newport, RI from Zelda’s to Battery Park, Surfers End, and Brenton Point.  We had a blast and I cannot wait for their July wedding at Regatta Place (a special place to me since that’s where I got married almost 4 years ago!).

destination engagement session: jenn and brian

I was so excited when Jenn and Brian asked me to photograph their destination engagement session where they live in Sarasota, Florida and their upcoming wedding in Charleston, South Carolina.  Always ready to jump on a plane, I was thrilled to head to the Sunshine State, though it ended up being more of a misty, magical state for me.  The mist really added to these surf side pics, I love how they are not your traditional beach pictures! I always tell my clients to pick an activity or theme that means something to them and Jenn and Brian hit the nail on the head, these worked out so well! Enjoy!

waterfront estate engagement session: erica and allen

These two crack me up.  I always say that one of the most important things in a successful marriage is the ability to make each other laugh. To bring each other up when the other is down.  Erica and Allen totally get that.  Their smiles are contagious. I cannot wait for their wedding next weekend at 41 North in Newport!  Also, check out those shoes!

eisenhower house wedding newport, RI

I second shot this stunning wedding at the Eisenhower House inside the gates of the amazing Fort Adams for Jaime Marland as associates for Rupert Whiteley this past summer.  I loved the classic summer feel –  Laura’s stunning veil blowing in the sea breeze. Kavon’s all white dinner jacket.  The gorgeous tent and the delish food.  The flowers from Greenlion Weddings gave a romantic garden feel all in shades of ivory.  It was like reading a page out of the Great Gatsby.

Venue: Eisenhower House | Floral Design: Greenlion Weddings | Catering: Smoke and Pickles
