Kim at Greenlion Design and I are just birds of a feather. Our aesthetic in our art is very similar and cut from the same cloth so to speak. So when I needed to capture some styled photos for a project, Kim jumped right in and I got to photograph her in her element as well, at her private studio where the magic happens for her clients. Love the feeling of these vignettes, romantic, eclectic, and a little moody.

Wedding at 41 North: Erica and Allen

From the first day I met Erica I knew we’d be a perfect fit. We talked about her Ivy and Aster dress (one of my favorite designers), we talked about 41 North (One of my favorite venues for it’s small intimate weddings), we talked about casual posing and natural and emotional photography, we talked about San Diego (where both I and Allen used to live), and all white color palettes and we drank our giant lattes. Bam! She and Allen were the epitome of an Erin McGinn Photography client and we had so much fun at their engagement session just a few weeks before the wedding. Their sarcasm kept me in stitches and I had a huge smile on my face throughout the entire wedding. LOVE them!

Boston Engagement Session: Jessica and Brett

Jessica and Brett showed me around their stunning neighborhood in Boston, just as the cherry blossoms started popping out and we could walk around the brick lined streets covered in pink petals. I am so excited for their Belle Mer wedding this coming Saturday!

Stephanie and Brad are absolutely hilarious. I had a giant smile on my face through the entire shoot when we did a little driving tour of Newport, RI from Zelda’s to Battery Park, Surfers End, and Brenton Point. We had a blast and I cannot wait for their July wedding at Regatta Place (a special place to me since that’s where I got married almost 4 years ago!).

I was so excited when Jenn and Brian asked me to photograph their destination engagement session where they live in Sarasota, Florida and their upcoming wedding in Charleston, South Carolina. Always ready to jump on a plane, I was thrilled to head to the Sunshine State, though it ended up being more of a misty, magical state for me. The mist really added to these surf side pics, I love how they are not your traditional beach pictures! I always tell my clients to pick an activity or theme that means something to them and Jenn and Brian hit the nail on the head, these worked out so well! Enjoy!
