It feels like ages ago that I first met Katelyn and Chris on a snowy winter day somewhere outside Boston. I was there to shoot an engagement session and wanted to meet them in person to chat about their day. But when I heard about their vision, I fell hard. I mean, my wedding was at Regatta Place, at the end of June, with heavy emphasis on navy stripes and bright summery details. And theirs was so similar. I felt like our style and design taste was a great match. When they brought me up to Boston for their engagement photos we had the best time exploring, having coffee, and enjoying the sunset on the Charles, so I knew that their wedding day would be easy and fun. We had the most beautiful weather. A stop at Brenton Point complete with a Del’s truck and kites flying overhead, a quick stop at King’s park to take in the view of the bridge, and then after all the formalities were over we enjoyed a jaunt down the docks to soak it all in, creating some of my favorite, relaxed and organic photos of the day with the perfect peaches and cream sky to accompany us. I had so much fun with them and I’m so excited to have The Newport Bride feature their big day right HERE so take a peek!
