Rainy day weddings in Newport aren’t always what anyone hopes for, but boy do they make for cozy, intimate photographs. Belle Mer is the best plan B in Newport I always say. There are still lots of places for photos, the property allows for a beautiful indoor ceremony, and the staff will take the best care of making everything work just as perfectly as it would have worked had the wedding been outdoors. You can still count on the white and bright feeling that Longwood is known for, and we can still enjoy tons of natural light streaming through the glass. Emily and Ray and their beautiful daughter didn’t bat an eye, and we got the most fun umbrella photos too. And the island house loft was just made for dress portraits. I loved all the details Flowers by Semia created as well, succulent escort cards, rose gold geometric domes, fairy lights, and the coolest sweetheart table around.
