Corinne and Taylor’s Carnegie Abbey Club wedding in Portsmouth, RI was one of the coolest and classic events I’ve had the pleasure to be a part of. Corinne’s dress was just perfect for the event. Sleek and form-fitting, yet timeless and simple. She made it pop with that VEIL! I can’t get over it, those huge flowers made a statement yet accentuated her beautiful hair. Taylor wore a classic white dinner jacket. This has to be one of the most dapper looks for a groom. You still stand out from the rest of the groomsmen, yet its as if you stepped out of the Great Gatsby! I loved how they made time to explore the grounds with me and Ellie at Reeling Films afterward, just like at their awesome Engagement Session.
You have to see the amazing video she created HERE. Working with creatives who step out of the box like Ellie is one of my favorite parts of the day! To top it all off, a sweet summer storm rolled in right after the couple was introduced. We all headed out to the docks as soon as the rain stopped and caught the most beautiful sunset. You can look for Corinne and Taylor’s wedding in this year’s issue of Bliss Celebrations Guide!

My favorite parts of Carnegie Abbey Club:
I loved the cocktail hour location at Carnegie Abbey Club weddings! Right on the greens (and the greens are magnificent) guests mingle and mix while overlooking the ocean. The ceremony location is also so great because you get to stand right infront of the marina, with boats passing in the background. The tent is in the perfect spot as well, right next to the docks that lead out to a little escape from the dance floor. See more on The Newport Bride.
My favorite part of the day:
It’s definitely tied between Corinne and Taylor snuggling in their golf cart as we drove back to cocktail hour (with a very pregnant Ellie driving our cart because I am a total spaz and couldn’t handle it), we laughed the entire time! And also their grand exit. Sparklers lining the way to the most beautiful vintage Rolls Royce, how perfectly romantic!
