BRIDES magazine just featured Colie and Jared’s wedding on their blog today! See it right HERE and yes I agree, that is the coolest escort card display ever, created by Greenlion design!
It’s not too often a wedding day starts with a flyover from a flock of snowy egrets, and then ends with a stunning fireworks display over the Newport bridge, but this one did. Bridesmaids in elegant baby blue by Colie’s side in her art deco inspired dress gave a sense of airy elegance to her and Jared’s Castle Hill Inn wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! When clients ask to do their first look at Castle Hill’s lighthouse, I worry a lot about the bright sun being too intense. But on this day, it just worked so perfectly. The gravel and the ocean added the best reflection of light back into the shadows and created an ethereal softness as the multi-colored sailboats cruised by in the background. Having an alone moment to start the wedding off away from the hustle and bustle let this couple enjoy a romantic ride before we got started with bridal party and family photos in the garden. Greenlion Design’s always gorgeous florals in simple whites and greens let Colie and Jared’s eye for design really stand out. LOVE this couple who stayed on the dance floor from start to finish! Oh and yes, there were Fireworks over the Newport Bridge
