Simple and Sweet Crane Estate Wedding
I can’t thank these two amazing women enough for the honor of capturing their day. Carolyn is a chef for America’s Test Kitchen, and maybe it was our mutual love of food or the fact we both grew up in NJ or that we are both are fond of the name Erin, but somehow she stumbled upon my work during her planning process with the amazing KG Events and Design. I loved capturing their at home engagement shoot, but being a part of their big day was even more special. Wildfolk Studio used simple and sweet florals in tones of blue and purple around the tent and ceremony site. The deeper tones played whimsically with the bridesmaid’s ethereal gowns.
Food and Friends
As Carolyn is a chef, choosing delicious dishes and playful cocktails/mocktails were important. Since the women chose to forgo a first look, we used cocktail hour to capture bridal party and family photos as well as bridal portraits. The Italian Garden at The Crane Estate was perfect for us to dodge the raindrops and also a stunning background for both sets of maids. With much organization, we rocked through all of our formals and got Erin and Carolyn back to the party.
