Elihu Island is definitely my new favorite place. I wanted to stow-away in “the big house” or maybe “the new house” forever. To read the books stacked lovingly on the shelves and to play a game of tennis on the courts. To mosy over to the point where you can see points in RI, CT, and NY. To surf in the little cove and swing on the big tree swing. Unfortunately that wasn’t an option, but photographing Lindsay and Matt’s wedding was nothing less then awesome. From their emotional first look in the sunken garden, to a sunset that would knock-your-socks-off, to watching them dance almost professionally to the Honky Tonk Knights – they spun and sang and twirled all night and I was beyond honored to be there to photograph it. And to top off the sundae their wedding was just featured on Style Me Pretty, you can see it all right HERE. I’m still smiling from this one…
