I’m a RI wedding photographer and it’s so nice of you to stop by my little corner of the web.
You may have seen my Instagram feed or maybe my portfolio or even a press feature. But let me tell you a little more about my background and how it makes me a little different.
My background as a wedding planner (I planned 40 weddings and my own in the same year!), and as a blog and magazine editor and stylist has trained my eye to capture detail-oriented, editorial style imagery.
I see not only your moments, but details and design to tell your full story. My fly-on-the-wall mindset is to let the day unravel as it may, never pausing you during important formalities but capturing your raw emotion artfully and unobtrusively.
You’ll find my style is soft and sun-kissed as I shoot primarily with natural light. Ever inspired by the timelessness of film, you can be assured your photos will never feel dated or trendy, but classically fresh. I may even shoot a few rolls at your wedding if time allows!
Whether I’m capturing a wedding locally in Newport or Little Compton Rhode Island, or I’m traveling throughout New England to capture New Hampshire weddings in the Lakes Region, Hudson Valley NY weddings, Vermont and Maine weddings, or further beyond I’m always striving to create magazine-worthy imagery that will let you remember not only the people present on your day, but the way the food tasted, how the fresh-cut grass smelled, the colors of the sunset, and most importantly, the way you felt. When I’m not traveling (my constant inspiration), capturing a couple in love, or creating food and lifestyle photos, you can find me with a big mug of coffee in my sweet little bungalow with my husband Nic in Lakewood, RI.
