Jenna and Chris’s uber stylish and classic Castle Hill wedding was breathtaking from start to finish. First of all, I have such fond memories of hanging out with these two on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee and riding around on Miss Meredith, so to say I was excited for their big day is a serious understatement. Then seeing gorgeous Jenna in that Carolina Herrera dress, holy smokes. The slick tailoring and scalloped neckline is one of the more unique silhouettes I’ve seen in my 10 years shooting. But then that veil! Just the perfect pairing for their church ceremony at my favorite chapel, Salve Regina’s round church. After arriving back at Castle Hill, we hung out in the garden and Jenna’s brother in law made a last-minute surprise to his wife and kids, arriving from his military post to make a cameo at the reception.
The weather can always be iffy in Newport, and even though it was a bit chilly we headed out to the lighthouse, the wind gave Jenna’s veil some lift and we had a blast walking around on the rocks at Grace Kelly Beach before joining guests at cocktail hour. The tent was so romantically decorated by Sayles Livingston with towering trees paired with garlands and greenery, the perfect amount of height inside the custom Sperry sail cloth tent. I love this couple so much and couldn’t me more delighted to finally share their images here.
