Maybe it was their super creative energy. Maybe it was that every single detail was personal, and most of them hand created. Maybe it was the fact that they welcomed me into their apartment at the end of their engagement session and let me snap a few photos with their adorable kitty Opie. Maybe it was that everything was unique, from the color palette to the typography to the fact that they asked for “big sky” photos. It likely was a conglomoration of all these things, but Alice and Alex stole a big piece of my heart. Their uber-creative wedding was picked up by the wonderful editors at The Knot magazine and featured a stunning 4 page print spread. Alice, being a graphic designer and photographer, created the coolest little touches – from bourbon shot escort cards, to a fold-out ceremony program featuring a giant poster sized map and favorite spots in Bristol, to a typography driven logo that was used throughout the day! I so loved working with these two and how they made photography a priorty- from getting dressed in the gorgeous light-filled rooms at Linden Place, to not only capturing bridal party pics on site but also all over town- to making time to sneak out of cocktail hour for photos on the docks just the two of them, and again for golden hour – really allowed me to fully capture all their moments along with getting some wonderful portraits that really showcased Bristol as a whole! Couldn’t me more happy for them!
