The options for rehearsal dinners in RI are endless. You have big beautiful mansions, stately ballrooms, chateaus and estates, restaurants, pizza parlours, and the ever popular state parks. But the one I recommend to every single one of my couples is a Lobster Bake. Having your guests experience this New England tradition is the most memorable activity they can be part of. McGrath’s clambakes does an amazing job. Owner TR gives the coolest description of the bake, and explains the history and ingredients and how the bake comes to be. Danielle and Chris held their bake on Chris’s families property in Little Compton (my favorite town in the state!) where the wedding would be the following day. It was such a great way for me to get to know key family members and the bridal party, explore the property for location backdrops the next day, as well as capture everyone having so much fun cracking their lobsters and get into the festive spirit! I couldn’t recommend anything more for a rehearsal !
