Pastel fall weddings aren’t typically what one thinks of in New England. But BOY does it work! We see our fair share of pumpkins and burn sienna here, autumn leaves and jewel tones, all so beautiful. But I love when a couple thinks out of the box, and uses muted versions of those deep tones, but adds in texture, and small pops of dark to make a fall wedding feel fresh and light. Stephanie and Joseph got the perfect day for it, with warm sunlight, sailboats, and stunning tent design by Grace Kim.
I also love that this couple really wanted to share their favorite thing with their guests, and just because it was fall didn’t stop that either. They had local favorite Brickley’s Ice Cream set up a sundae bar in the Chalet and it brought a smile to everyone’s face. If you haven’t yet had the opportunity to try Brickley’s, definitely stop by on your next visit to Rhode Island. I battle it out yearly with my husband on whether Butter Brickley or Chocolate rain supreme. Don’t forget the Waffle cone! And if you don’t believe me that these two adore Brickley’s, it was also the focus of their engagement shoot!
