Little Compton Private Home weddings
If I had to pick one type of wedding to shoot for the rest of my career it would be private home weddings. Particularly in Little Compton, Rhode Island. Caroline and Patrick were married at a tiny little white chapel. They held their tented reception on the property adjacent to her parent’s home. So happy we took our photos on the grounds of their home before we left for the ceremony. I wanted to capture all of the stunning backgrounds! Pro tip – shell driveways act as natural reflectors on the sunniest of October days!
I could go on and on about this couple’s style. Caroline’s dress literally left my jaw on the floor (those little tiny flowers!), and how well coordinated the bridal party was, yet still expressing individuality! Caroline’s twin sister Kyle wore an embroidered pink gown that felt seamless with the design throughout the wedding.
Elevated Tent Design
Now, this tent is one for the books. White. Carpet! Yes you heard that right! Truly stunning! Caroline and Pat wanted it to feel like an extension of the home, so the stunning carpet, individual charcuterie boards for each table, and warm lighting and candles were used throughout to add to the vibe. The use of white and greens and wooden farm tables left a modern yet comfortable feel to the design. I loved every inch.
So excited that their wedding has been published on Over The Moon, everyone’s (including mine!) new favorite wedding blog. Thanks to Alexandra and her team for the feature and for re-invigorating wedding blogs and excitement for brides to check out fresh features!
