Hi! I'm Erin!

I’m a wedding, editorial, and lifestyle photographer based in Lakewood, RI with a heart of wanderlust and a valid passport.  I live in a sweet little bungalow with my husband Nic and our crazy pup Mila.

I shoot primarily with natural light.  You’ll find my style is soft and sun-kissed.  Ever inspired by the timelessness of film, you can be assured your photos will never feel dated or trendy, but classically fresh.  I may even shoot a few rolls at your wedding if time allows!

I have a wide range of experience in the wedding industry (including planning more than 40 weddings the same year I planned my own!). I’ve also worked in wedding blog and magazine editing, as a stylist, and more. In addition to my photography experience, I want to help you make every aspect of your wedding the best it can be, so I’ll connect you with my extensive vendor contacts within the local community to help you find exactly what you’re looking for when it comes to your wedding. My goal when shooting your wedding is to capture classic, timeless photos that you’ll love just as much in fifty years as you do today.

My Philosophy:

My background as a wedding planner, blog and magazine editor, and stylist has trained my eye to capture detail oriented, editorial style imagery. I see not only your moments, but details and design in order to tell your full story. My fly-on-the-wall mindset is to let the day unravel as it may, never pausing you during important formalities but capturing your raw emotion artfully and unobtrusively. Whether I’m capturing a wedding locally in Newport or Little Compton Rhode Island, or I’m traveling throughout New England to New Hampshire and the Lakes Region, Vermont, Maine or beyond, I’m always striving to create magazine-worthy imagery that will let you remember not only the people present on your day, but the way the food tasted, the breeze blowing through the grass felt like, the color of the sky at sunset, and most importantly, the way you felt.

My Portfolio

I’ve recently updated my portfolio with my favorite images that I have created since I shot my first solo wedding on New Year’s 2010. It was so hard to narrow it down to these few, but if you’d like to see even more, click over to the blog too. My portfolio will give you a better idea of the types of pictures I’ll take and how they’ll fit into your vision for your wedding. Think I might be a good fit? After browsing my portfolio, contact me! We’ll sit down and talk about your vision, inspiration, and ideas. After our initial consultation I am always happy to share a full wedding gallery with you.

My work has been featured in numerous national and regional publications, both online and in print.  It is always an honor to have these moments published, and I’m lucky that I have been featured by Martha Stewart, Brides Magazine, Style Me Pretty, The Knot, The New York Times, and more.
